Been there... Done That!... #1- Develop a clientele base prior to leaving
law-enforcement, #2- Be diversified... have some other skill or specialty
that can fill in the hard times, #4- Go to the local community college and
take several "ABC.s of Small Business" types of courses, #5- Think about it
for a LONG time before making the move, #6- Look at what has happened to any
of your cohorts when they made attempts in your area, #7 (and most importantly)
Don't have a family that is depending upon you and your current salary!, #8
have a plan "B"
