The fact that the airbag did not deploy is an indication that the impact was
not severe but does not mean it was minor. Airbags usually deploy at an
EBS = 12 mph (approx), which implies a delta-v higher than that.
More important is the weight difference in the vehicles (I haven't checked
but assume the F150 is heavier) and the fact that it's an underride which
means the contact time was longer and the resulting g-forces were lower.
