On the subject of seatbelts, is it possible for a driver, belted with seat all the way up(5'1 or 2) to strike his/her knees on the console of a pickup without her body striking the steering wheel? The claim is that when the rear of the pickup was lifted up(undercarraige collison), her upper torso stayed locked in with the restraint but her lower slid under the lap belt slightly causing her knees to impact but no other part of her body. Does this sound realistic? Impact was between 10-20 mph.
