I see you posted this request some 3 weeks ago and haven't received a response. I was hoping someone would have an opinion.

Like you, I too am trying to sort through the maze of packages available. A couple of items I would like to see addressed are:

Are the packages compatible with other Windows applications. I bought a CAD type program that bragged about complete portability, only to find it wouldn't tranfer the text or special figures (i.e. trees, guardrails, vehicles ...)

Second, how useful is the output data in developing professional animations? Several of the animation shops will take your data when plotted point by point and animate the accident. Is the package supported by the animation shops?
