If you are looking for standard sampling rates, try Society of Automotive Engineers Recommended Practice SAE J211 Oct88 "Instrumentation for Impact Test". The recommended minimum channel class for vehicle structural acceleration for use in integration for velocity is 180 (Fh = 180 Hz, where Fh is defined graphically in the standard). However, this standard also recommends that the minimum sampling rate for digital systems is 8x the Fh, or in this case 1440 sample per second, with at least 10 bit resolution.
This instrumentation standard is the minimum acceptable for crash tests done to standards such as NCHRP 350 and others.
