Try the "real" vehicle service manual. There are various levels, GM has 8mph to 14mph delta V
frontal to trip the discriminating sensor and arming sensor. Per one manual it allowed +/- 30
degrees from full frontal. On the older DERMs if the discriminating sensor was remotely located
in the wrong placeit might not see the delta-v because of the vector. In the new SDM's they have
only internal sensors and it is mounted below the passengers seat.
