I am currently involved in the reconstruction of a case involving a 1989 Kawasaki EX250F motorcycle. The investigating police officer has tesitfied in deposition that the bike was traveling 110 miles per hour when it struck a Ford Ranger pickup head-on. He says that the speedometer needle is bent in such a way that it positively proves the speed of the bike. Prior to impact, the bike left approximately 68 feet of rear-wheel skids prior to impact.
This seems to be stretching it for a small bike such as this. Anyway, I am looking for specs on the bike and also any ideas of the performance capabilities of the bike. Any ideas?
