a little more - here's a couple of enthusiast web sites - there are claims of a top speed potential of up to 120, but only one guy who claims to have seen 100 mph on his speedometer and he admitted that was optomistic due to speedometer error, which was cited by several writers as being as much as 10 mph - so there's another consideration to the "absolute" speed from speedometer slap.
There's also a reference to a test in Cycle magazine of an 87 EX250, with an observed top speed of 95 mph, and a calculated top speed of 105.
sorry - just don't see 110 without some gearing and performance modifications and a long straight stretch of asphalt
