Effects of gravel on changing the drag factor during critical speed scuff

Does anyone know of research...ACTUAL testing of road surfaces "contaminated"
by small amounts of gravel? Specifically I am looking for the effect on the
change of drag factor on an asphaltic concrete traveled surface that starts
off with a .77 - .82 COF.

Thanks for any help.
