Laser measuring equipment

I am interested in purchasing a laser measuring system for our traffic homicide unit. I'm looking for a system that can be used by one person in a pinch, will assit with recording the data and can create a scaled diagram. The only systems that I have been able to locate are the Laser Tech. Inc., Impulse 200 total AI package and the Nikon AIMS package. Are there any others that are being used by police or the reconstruction community that I have missed? I like the LTI system so far because of the price, $5,300. for laser, field data collector and software. The Nikon system is about $11,000 or more. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!
