In October 1994, NAPARS conducted a motorcycle collision conference in
Atlantic City. That affair was not very productive and the so called crash test
was nearly catastrophic for several observers.

Successful staged collision experiments normally result from good technical
planning and not from something haphazardly thrown together at the last
minute.

Obviously valid research methodology involves a good deal of thought and
leg work. Its never easy, but the end result of such effort can produce a well
documented quality product worth observing. Otherwise your likely to waste
both your time and money.

Therefore, if anything credible is expected from any of the upcoming motorcycle
crash tests, the sponsoring organization(s) may have an obligation to disclose
their proposed scenario specifics well in advance of any scheduled testing. Why not put it on TARO? Let everyone know.

Also, like other professional seminars, the initial announcement should contain
basic course scheduling data along with the speaker's name for each section.
Clearly this type of information should be made conspicuously available before
payment of any registration fees.
