ABS adjustment factor

The time is nearly upon all reconstructionists when non ABS vehicles will no longer be available to measure
the dynamic friction coefficient. It would seem that one of the best ways to address this dilema will be to
develop an adjustment factor based on a multitude of tests comparing the results of various ABS equipped vehicles to a non-ABS benchmark.
With the help of the Bergen County NJ Prosecutors Office Fatal Accident Unit such testing will hopefully begin in July in northeast NJ. I would be interested in
hearing about any other such testing with this specific aim. I would also like feedback with respect to this undertaking in general.
It is realized that variables such as the type of ABS system and roadway surface must be considered. Others with suggestions in this regard are encouraged to
communicate. In addition to the E-mail address I can also be reached weekdays between 9:00AM - 4:30PM EDT at 201-646-3531.
