SAE is located at 400 Commonwealth Drive Warrendale PA 15096-0001. You might write
them and ask for a membership application (if not I can send you one).
Dues are about $85 per year. A word of advice, unless you are an engineer
or have an extensive background in engineering related training, and have
a current SAE member as one of your references, they probably will turn
down your application for membership citing some reason for insufficient
engineering background. SAE seems to have a problem admitting law-enforcement
types to membership. You might even have to apply several times before
the membership grading committee will put their approval on your application.
