Is there any written source of a speed estimation from damage to a bicycle in a colision. In short the answer is no. Rusty and I have run 98 bike versus car crash tests and have kept data that shows there is no valid way to determine the speed of the car based on the damage to the bike. Now direction of impact can be seen but not a speed estimate solely on the bicycles damage.
