If you can calculate the delta-v at the c.g. you can then resolve the value to the sensor location. That will give an approximation of peak force. Rotations and other issues can effect things. Also the PDOF can be resolved to that point.

Several ways to approach, including hand computations and M-SMAC iterations.

If you can not compute delta-v at c.g for whatever reason, simulation programs MAY or MAY NOT be of assistance because it sounds as though therre is little post-trajectory information (my guess due to the given description).
