It is unfortunate that the needs of the Law Enforcement Professional are not being met by organizations creating diagramming packages for this market. If you are interested in looking at a an integrated product where the manufacturer is sincerely interested in addressing the needs of the users in this market, please look at DynaCOP. The demo can be downloaded for free from Ditek's website, or you can order a free demo, there is a shipping charge, but it will be refunded on your first order. As the product Manager for DynaCOP I am committed to offering you a solution at a reasonable price. Ditek is responsive to the needs of the market. An example of this is, at Crash '98 in Texas, I was made aware of a need in this kind of software. The feature that potential users were asking for was the ability to snap a figure into a diagram that is perfectly scaled and dimensioned in the diagramm after entering the "real-world" dimensions. The advantage of this is that there is no need to monkey w
ith the figure to scale or dimension the figure after it has been snapped to a coordinate at the insertion point that was measured to.
At this point DynaCOP was withdrawn from the market, this feature was added, DynaCOP was returned to the market, and everyone that had purchased DynaCOP prior to this point recieved a free update.

This is the kind of committment that Ditek Software Corp. and I have to ensuring that this product addresses the needs of the users.
If you wish to contact me directly, my number is 1-888-463-4835 ext. 330. My email is [email protected] I look forward to recieving responses to this whether they are critical of or praising of DynaCOP. Only by recieving comments from users of Diagramming packages for traffic and Crime scene diagramming, am I going to be able to offer you what you need not what I or Ditek thinks you need.

Sincerely,

Mike Rumble
