I wish to thank everyone that took the time to respond to my request.
This case is still open. At present I have chosen to utilize a formula
from the chapter on motorcycle collision investigation, in Rudolph Limpert's
book on Accident Reconstruction and Cause Analysis. This formula utilizes,
maximum crush depth, M/C wheelbase reduction to a max. of 13 inches, and the
weight of the M/C, to give a minimum speed at impact. I have noted that some
responders to my request, have commented about their concerns with wheelbase
reduction. If anyone has had previous experience with this formula, or wishes
to comment on my choice of it, I would welcome it. Again I wish to thank
everyone that took the time to respond to my request.

Steve.
