I appreciate this is a rather late response to your post, but I will reply anyway.
Firstly, yes HVE will enable this type of occupant simulation, but I suggest you would need to use the GATB analysis engine rather than EDC's EDHIS.
GATB was ported from ATB to the HVE system by Wes Grimes of Collision Engineering Associates. I do not know who other than Wes and I are running this particular software, but I am sure Wes can help. I would be happy to if necessary, although we are a long way apart. But hey, thats the electronic age for you.
