Harley Acceleration Factor

Look for help with an acceleration factor on a 1988 Harley Sportster. Had two guys weighing about 450 together. Bike accelerated from trafic light. Van pulled out from side street approximately 205 ft away and was struck by bike. Van operator claims bike accelerated so fast he couldn't get across lane. Trying to show if possible or not. Any info or sources I could check would be appreciated. Difficult to do the test in Maine this time of year.
