Highway Barrier/Bridge Rail Impact

I am in the process of researching to what extent impact with a concrete highway barrier or birdge rail affects vehicle deceleration. Some questions that come to mind are: How significant is the deceleration from a concrete barrier/rail crash in the determination of vehicle to vehicle post impact speed estimates?( In -Line Momentum Analysis) How is the barrier deceleration rate/factor determined ? How is it combined or intergrated with the deceleration factor/ rate between the tires and the road? Are there typical deceleration values that can be employed?
