Steve,

I came across a formula that I believe is from Texas A M relating to the
change in wheel base of a motorcycle in this type of collision.

The formula is:

Vmc=(2.18 X delta lwb) + 10.3

Vmc=Impact speed of M/C in mph
delta lwb= Measured changed in the wheelbase of the M/C
10.3=Constant

You would need to get in touch with a dealer to determine the original wheel base of
the M/C, and then measure the change, and apply that to the formula.
