the motorcycle 'crush' formula above was derived from tests using a limited number of late 60' model Hondas with wire spoked front wheels at relatively low speeds. if used at all it should be with great care - a thread in a previous AR News goes over some of the problems with applying it to late model motorcycles. in a high speed collision your probably left with what's already been discussed - narrow object crush to the 4 wheeled vehicle (tho the Engineers out there will probably assail me for apples/oranges), or rider vault
