My first advice to you is get help. You obviously are not trained at the specialty of pedestrian/motor vehicle collision investigation. Slapping on a formula you read some where can only get you in trouble when someone asks you questions about it later. Jerry Eubanks (probably one of the world's leading experts in ped/bike collision investigation ) has a new book out with Lawyers and Judges publishers [email protected] Invest a few bucks and get it. There are also formula to determine the maximum speed a vehicle was going if you know the POI and the POR (vehicle). I would be glad to send you an example of that if you wish.

Car v. pedestrian
