An excellent source of truck data is in "A Factbook of the Mechanical Properties of the Components for Single-Unit and Articulated Heavy Trucks" by Paul Fancher, Dick Ervin etc of UMTRI at Ann Arbor, available from NTIS as report DOT HS 807 125 (1986)
