Terry,

After reviewing your reply, the only further help I could think of would be to direct you to the McInnis (sp?) low speed data base. As I recall their research indictaed similar post-collison evidence for certain events but the recorded delta v's were on the order of 13 kph (around 8 mph). I also have seen some very impressive speed change impacts where the foam core style attenuators received little residual crushing behind the bumper covers.
