Ford recently announced a recall that is not yet on the NHSTA or Transport Canada database. I heard it on the news and it has something to do with the cruise control.
A search on the Ford web site came up with the following:
*********************************
"Ford Announces Vehicle Recall DEARBORN, Mich., March 26, 1999 - In the interest of customer safety and in keeping with its drive to become a more consumer-focused company, Ford Motor Company is voluntarily notifying approximately 945,000 owners of a safety recall involving speed control"
*****************************************
The link on the Ford site from the above message to the press release does not work.
