The Severy data is not relevant to today's bikes: wheels, chassis design and materials, engine mounting, and front end suspension styles have changed enough that his data is not applicable. To my knowledge, no similar data exists for modern bikes, but it would have to be fairly model specific (stamped steel Honda wheels are not the same as the Alum castings on my street bike, which are in turn different from the spoked version, which are different from...you get the picture) . There are some limited specs available on the web, but you're better off looking elsewhere at this point, IMO. The old bike-accident recon book (Baxter?) has some data in it. If it's a newer bike, check copies of Motorcyclist Magazine, they do an annual bike-specs roundup. Any chance of using the vault formulae? Good luck.
