Bosch Fuel Pump Automatic Shut-off

I am an accident reconstructionist seeking information regarding the automatic
shut-off of a Bosch fuel pump found on a 1998 Ford F-150.

>From what I know these fuel pumps are fitted with a gold ball and magnet.
When the vehicle is involved in a frontal or rear-end impact the sensor is
designed to release the ball, tripping the sensor, which disables the fuel pump.
The pump can then be reset with a button fitted on the outside of the pump.
I am investigating a low-speed accident in which the pump shut-off was
activated.

Does anyone know what kind of impact severity (delta-V or acceleration pulse)
is required to trip this sensor?

I interested in any information on this topic that you can provide me with.
Thanks in advance.
