Would anyone know the history of the air bag? For instance
1) Who invented it?
2) Who has the patent?
3) Who has licensed the air bag?
4) Is it mandated by law nationwide?
5) Are there specific states where it is mandatory?

I hope to use this information in a report. Any reply would be greatly appreciated.
