#1 I presume you meant IP not console (center pod), #2 You describe a rear impact, low speed, so all the forces of the 10-20 mph crash (if that estimate is correct, look at both vehicles to verify) are pushing the PU forward and relatively speaking the occupant rearward. Unless the PU hit a fixed object or OV she should have little if any forward movement. The incline of the truck is not sufficient to cause injury.
#3 My gut feeling is that the person was not using the restraint. I worked for GM and tested belt systems and reconstructed all the claims made for the $10,000 free insurance policy on crash deaths (for restrained occupants). I also have done 500 fatal crashes on-scene and do all these things in detail , just to explain that I am not just spouting off.
